Vertical-Trau Fire-Propagation and Smoke Release Tester
- All PHILFLEX building wire and tray cable products are subjected to rigid fire test wherein the cables are exposed to extreme heart and flame temperature for 20 minutes. This rating requires the cable to self-extinguish prior to reaching the top of the 8 feet tray to prevent fire from spreading thru the cable. A UL building wire tray rated cable must meet this test.
